What to expect and F&Q's
We want you to feel safe, relaxed and rejuvenated here at Rejuvenation. You will relax and unwind in your private suite while burning up to 600 calories and detoxing from the inside out. Our pods and saunas combine infrared wavelengths to optimize absorption and maximize health benefits.
Your light session will be around 30 to 40 minutes long if doing one session. If you have signed up for more than one session it will be about 30 to 40 minutes for each session you have booked.
What should I wear?
We provide towels for your light session and if you are doing more than one session we provide robes and slippers as well. If you feel more comfortable wearing clothes during your session, we suggest wearing a swimsuit with no metal closures. Less is more when allowing your body to sweat and breathe. Please remove any lotions or oils before your session. If you are scheduled for a Fit3d body scan, you will need to wear tight-fitting clothes such as a swimsuit, bra, panties, and boxers, and make sure your hair is pulled up and off of your shoulders.
Can I enjoy my Light session with a friend?
Our IR gym/sauna will allow several friends at once (each must have an appointment). Our pods are designed for only one user at a time. Our plunge room is also open for a combination of 2 as the suite has two plunge tubs. Please specify if you would like the plunge to be hot or cold before your arrival so we can have it ready for you.
Can I use Infrared if I have metal or silicone surgical implants?
Metal pins, rods, artificial joints, or any other metal surgical implants reflect infrared waves and are not heated. Silicone implants are ok for use with our systems. We do advise you to consult your physician before using any infrared sauna or pod with any questions or concerns you may have.
Who should not use Pods or Gym/Sauna?
Those with a heart condition should consult their physician before using infrared. If you have a pacemaker, active cancer, open wounds, or are pregnant you should not use infrared at this time.
What can I bring with me for my light session?
Electronics are not affected by the light services and you may bring earbuds, a phone, etc. The RedFit iGym gets very hot. We do recommend leaving all electronics out and utilizing the in-gym smart TV. If you have booked a session in our cocoon aqua room, I would not suggest bringing electronics into that session as there is steam that could damage your electronics. You are welcome to bring your electronic device into the plunge room at your own risk as you will be in water.
How old do I have to be to participate in a light therapy session?
Our services are for ages 15 and up. If you are under 18 years of age you must have a parent or guardian sign a consent form for you.
We do request that ONLY guests with appointments be present during their light session. We do not allow friends or children of guests into the room during sessions. This helps ensure that all guests have a relaxing experience.
How often can I use Infrared?
We suggest only up to 90 minutes of infrared a day and every other day allowing 24 hours between days of use. You can combine our pods and other services by choosing chromotherapy without infrared after your infrared session. For example, you come in for a rejuvapod or IR gym/sauna session, then a cocoon aqua hydration session with green, blue, red, yellow, or orange light, enjoy a cold, hot, or contrast plunge session, and a vibroacoustic session or facial afterward. Our staff can help you decide which service is best for you if you need help. Don't be afraid to ask! That's what we are here for. :)
How is an infrared sauna different from a traditional sauna?
Infrared saunas heat the body from the inside out, raising the body's core temperature. This is a more comfortable and productive session. Traditional saunas heat the air around you before raising your body's core temperature making the air hotter and less efficient than an infrared sauna.
What is your cancellation policy?
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, we ask for an 8-hour advance notice for a full refund. Any appointment not canceled 8 hours in advance will be charged a $20 fee (per person). This includes any memberships or packages. We do this because we are reserving a suite for you and another guest could have enjoyed that time slot.
LATE ARRIVAL/NO SHOW POLICY: If you are more than 15 minutes late we may need to reschedule your session. If you are a no-show, your session will be canceled, and you will be charged and $20 fee ( per person). This includes memberships and packages.
